Answers to Exercises in Ch 16 1. We believed on the Lord and were
known by Him. 2. These things were written in the
books. 3. You all taught the children, but you
yourselves also were taught by the Lord. 4. The faithful were received into
heaven, but the evil angels were cast out of it. 5. The dead will be raised by the word
of the Lord. 6. These blind men were gathered
together into the church. 7. The demons were cast out, for the
Lord cast them out. 8. Even now on the one hand the
disciples are being sent, but then, on the other hand, the apostles were sent
and the angels also will be sent in that day. 9. You entered (into) the church and
were baptized. 10. He was believed (on) in the world,
received up in glory. (cp. 1Ti 3:16) 11. The sinners were saved in that hour
and became disciples of the Lord. 12. We went into another place, for
these men will not receive us. 13. God was glorified by the Son, and
He glorified Him. 14. The gospel was proclaimed in those
days, and even now it will be proclaimed. 15. A place will be prepared for us
in heaven according to the promise of the Lord. (cp. Joh 14:2) 16. The children were brought to the
Lord. 17. These men saw the face of the Lord
and heard His voice. 18. In the small house the voice of the
apostle will be heard. 19. I am first (foremost) of sinners,
but even I was saved. (cp. 1Ti 1:15) 20. On the one hand, we will see the
angels, but on the other hand, we will also be seen by them. |
