Class Answers:

1. The ruler having gone to the Lord, the servants said these things to the disciples.

2. Having gone to them, the ruler believed on the Lord.

3. You having believed on the Lord, immediately the ruler also believed.

4. The one who had been raised by the Lord, having entered into the house, the disciples marveled.

5. He having been cast out of the synagogue, the rulers were gathered together

6. Having been cast out of the synagogue, the Lord taught him.

7. The Holy Spirit having said these things, the disciples preached the Word of God.

16. We having been pursued by the soldiers, the ones who were in the house received us.

17. While going into the house, the rulers came to you, but having entered, they threw (you) out.

18. On the one hand, these things I said to them while they were bringing the children to the Lord, but on the other hand, those things (I said to them) having brought (the children to the Lord).

19. On the one hand, while the Lord was going with His disciples, the apostles were saying these things, but on the other hand, having gone into the house (the apostles were saying) those things.

20.These things I said to you all while still being with me.

 

 

Thompson’s Answers:

1. When the ruler had gone to the Lord, the servants said these things to the disciples. (The ruler having gone…, the servants said…).

2. When he (the ruler) had gone to them, the ruler (he) believed on the Lord.

3. After you believed on the Lords immediately the ruler also believed.

4. When the one who had been raised by the Lord had entered (into) the house, the disciples marveled.

5. When he had been cast out of the synagogue the rulers were gathered together.

6. After he (the man) had been cast out of the synagogue the Lord taught him.

7. After the Holy Spirit had said these things the disciples proclaimed the Word of God.

19. While the Lord was going with His disciples, the apostles were saying these things, but when he had gone into the house (they were saying) those things.

20. These things I said to you (pl.) while you were still with me.
