Answers to Exercises in Ch 13

 

1. The Lord will lead His disciples into the kingdom.

2. We will know both the good and the evil ones (men, people).

3. You all will take the boats from the sea (lake).

4. You will release (i.e., loose) the slaves.

5. The evil ones will neither have joy nor peace.

6. In that hour the Son of Man will come with His angels.

7. You all are sinners, but you all will become disciples of the Lord.

8. The evil ones are persecuting the prophets, but in the days of the Son of Man they no longer will persecute them.

9. You will pray to your God and you will glorify Him.

10. Then you all will know that He is the Lord.            

11. Not even I will know these things.            

12. The servant will teach others, but the faithful teacher will teach me.

13. The apostles will receive those things, but even the brothers (will receive) these things.

14. Through the word of the Lord these blind men will receive sight.

15. The prophet himself will write these things in the Scriptures (the writings)

16. Evil days will come.     

17. Even you will go away into the ways of the evil ones, and thus (you) will teach the men. (Or, you also)  

18. Even they themselves will preach the gospel in this evil world. (or, They also)

19. Even this woman will come to him, and he will teach her. (or, This woman also)

20. The gospel was being proclaimed in the evil days, and even now (it) is being preached, but in that day the Lord Himself will come.
