receive salvation and hope. 2. If you all do not receive our witness
you all will not be saved. 3. If this man does not see the Lord, he
will not believe on Him. 4. If it is being proclaimed to us that
the Lord is good, let us also be good, in order that we might teach the rest
(the remaining ones, possible). 5. I preached the Gospel to them (I
evangelized them), in order that they might be saved and might (continually)
have life (“might be having life” to express continuous action; possible but
not practical). 6. Let us no longer sin (continual, as a
practice), in order that we might become faithful disciples. 7. Blessed are the crowds, if they hear
my words. 8. If the ones believing on the Lord
enter into that house, we will preach the gospel to them there. 9. We proclaimed to this people the
words of life, in order that they might receive the truth and might be saved.
10. Let us go to the one who saw the
Lord, in order that he might teach us concerning Him. 11. When they had said these things in
the temple, the ones who heard received the things being said, in order that
they might proclaim them also to the rest. 12. Let us believe on the one who died
for us, in order that he might write our names in the book of life. 13. I will go to the one who saved me,
in order that I might not break His commandments nor go in the ways of death.
14. These things I/they said in the
temple, in order that the ones who heard might be saved from their sins and
might have the righteousness of God. 15. If you all saw these things in the
evil days, you will see the same things both now and forever. 16. If you were not taught by the Lord,
you will not know Him forever. (cp. 1Ti 6:12) 17. The one who is breaking the
commandments of God is not having hope, if he does not return to the Lord. 18. These things he received from the
One who died for him, in order that, having received them, the rest
themselves might be saved also. 19. Having come together into the house,
let us receive the witness of the one who preached the gospel to us. 20. After the soldiers had persecuted
the saints in order that they might not believe on the one who saved them,
these men came together into the synagogue. |
